Sketchup

Hello students! This page is created for you to have a variety of learning tools for you to access as you are developing your skills with the drawing platform "Sketchup"

This is for Interior Design AND Fashion Merchandising Students.

Sketchup has a free profile for you to use and the computers in our Design Lab has the Sketchup Pro with Sketchup Layout.

The difference is in the size of the files you can develop with each one. The Free Version will only permit small drawings.

Please keep that in mind when you are working on your projects.

As designers we should have collected our project information and data prior to beginning our drawing development in Sketchup. Such as, your field measurements. I recommend that you have all measurements in "inches" and not "feet & inches."
